Leadership Lesson From Oscar Winner
A great man should be a great public speaker to change the way people think.
Most inspiring acceptance speech goes to Matthew McConaughey on Dallas Buyers Club.
I was truly amazed by such a public speaking ability he made to make it look very natural and relaxed when thanking a few important people for his triumph. Even funnily describing his dad’s holding beer in heaven with his non-verbal expressions, ring a bell?
He could attach every one watching those glorious few minutes of his life by uplifting everyone with his motivational words:
“But perhaps the most important part of your success as a leader is your motivation–that single factor that drives you to keep going, to be successful, to be a better version of yourself”
Here’s to complete most of it all:
“So, to any of us, whatever those things are, whatever it is that we look up to, whatever it is we look forward to and whoever it is we’re chasing, to that I say, alright, alright, alright and to that I say ‘JUST KEEP LIVING”
Conclusion: A great man should be a great public speaker whose words motivate, lift up, move, generate and change people’s perspective towards life to be a better one.
If those words don’t change the way you think to be a better one, you’re just another time-wasting speaker.
